Will my registration be refunded?
You’ll automatically receive a refund for your registration fees and special events.
How do I request a refund?
We’ll automatically cancel your registration and issue a refund with 60 days. You don’t have to do anything.

Hotel & Travel
How do I cancel my conference hotel reservation?
If you made your reservation through AAO’s official housing vendor, onPeak, you don’t have to do anything. OnPeak will cancel your reservation and send you a confirmation email. Credit cards have not been processed and no housing refunds are due. If you booked directly with the hotel or another housing agent, you will be responsible for canceling your reservation.

Exhibitors, Sponsors, Advertisers
Will exhibitors receive a refund?
All companies contracted to exhibit at the 2020 AAO Annual Session will receive either a refund of monies paid (less a small admin fee), or a credit (less a small admin fee) towards a booth in the 2021 AAO Annual Session Exhibit Hall. Exhibitors who select the refund option, should expect funds to arrive via check within 60 days. (International Companies who paid via wire transfer may receive their refund in the same manner.)
Why are you charging an administrative fee?
Since AAO members were not able to connect with exhibitors in person, the $150 fee will be spent on providing ways for our members to learn more about your business throughout the coming year. Instead of providing an on-site Exhibitor Guide, and using the information each exhibitor provided in their portal, the AAO will be producing and mailing a 2020 Product Guide to all AAO members. We will also be making our online Exhibitor Listing available throughout the year. Exhibitors should take advantage of the complimentary upgrades offered for your online listing. Companies can add logos, imbed videos, link out and launch products at no cost for 2020. More information coming to your Exhibitor Portal soon.
How do Exhibitors make the AAO aware of whether they would like a refund, or prefer to roll over the 2020 funds and apply them to 2021?

Will Sponsors and/or Advertisers receive a refund?
As with the booth payments, Annual Session sponsors & advertisers have the choice to receive a full refund of the monies paid, or roll their payment over for the same item in 2021. Please follow the same link listed above to indicate your preference. Sponsors/Advertisers who select the refund option, should expect funds to arrive via check within 60 days.
How can I earn CE Credits?

Is the AAO planning a virtual conference?
Options are being explored. Information will be communicated as soon as possible.
Will AAO 2020 be rescheduled for a future date?
We have no plans to reschedule AAO 2020. While we are disappointed not to be meeting this year, your health and safety is our top priority.
Will my contribution to Donated Orthodontic Services be refunded?
Please know that the contribution you made during the registration process was received by DOS, and will provide services to a patient who might not otherwise be able to receive treatment. While your donation is tax deductable, it is not refundable.
