This 14 year-old girl has an acceptable facial profile. She avulsed her maxillary left central incisor at age 8 and nothing was done to hold the space. Now she is unhappy with her smile. She has mild arch length deficiencies in both arches with maxillary arch constriction. How would you treat this situation? The authors treated her nonextraction and substituted the left lateral for the central incisor and the canine for the lateral.
