During the second season of Netflix’s hit series, “Stranger Things,” the show’s kid demon fighter, Dustin, frequently wore a T-shirt designed by an AAO member.

The Netflix series is set in the 1980s. Dr. Wes Allai of Springfield, Missouri, designed the T-shirt in 1982 to promote his then-new practice. It shows astronauts placing wires into brackets on a giant set of teeth that are floating in space before a blue planet. The words "Brace Yourself for the Future!" surround the planet.

Dr. Allai told St. Louis’ Riverfront Times that he gave the shirts to patients for years, but did not know how the shirt worn in the Netflix series reached Los Angeles.
