How do I gain access to AAO Practice Opportunities?
  1. Create an account with the AAO. If you are new, you must first create an account as a non-AAO member provider before you can create an opportunity.  Log into aaoinfo.org to create your non-AAO member account.
  2. After the account is created, log into aaoinfo.org with the email used to create the account and the password you selected in Step 1.
  3. Once your AAO account has been created, you will need to request access as a Provider – All providers must request access and agree to the terms of the site. Click on Careers located at the top of the page on the Blue Banner on AAOinfo.org to request Access as a Provider.
  4. Agree to the terms of the service with your electronic signature in the format e.g. /s/ Merleen Leonce (replace Merleen Leonce with your name)
  5. You will then be directed to create an opportunity.
  6. You can also post the opportunity here at aaoinfo.org if you need to stop and continue the process later.
  7. After you create the opportunity, you will receive an invoice from the AAO.
  8. Log into your account here to pay the invoice. Once paid, your opportunity will be published.
  9. You will then have access to the AAO Resume Center.
To pay the invoice (please contact us at info@aaortho.org or (800) 424-2841 X 587 to let us know if you prefer to pay by check or purchase order). AAO's help desk is available 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM CST 
  1. Log into aaoinfo.org with your email and password from Step 1 above.
  2. Click on ‘store’ and then click on ‘open invoices’.
  3. You will then be able to pay your invoice, and your listing will be published.
  4. You will then have access to the AAO resume Center. If you are still having difficulty, email info@aaortho.org
How do I create an account as a non-AAO member provider?
  1. Navigate to aaoinfo.org to begin the process of becoming a non-AAO member provider.
  2. Enter an email address to determine if you have an existing account.
  3. Create an AAO account (You will need to request access and create an orthodontic opportunity.
  4. Agree to the terms of the service with your electronic signature in this format e.g., /s/ Merleen Leonce.
  5. You will then be directed to create an opportunity. (AAO reserves the right to refuse Access for misleading and incorrect information)
How can I request access to Practice Opportunities and create my opportunity? (If you already have an AAO Account)
AAO charges a fee for each posting/opportunity as follows:
$150 for 30 days per single opportunity
$375 for 90 days per single opportunity
Payment of the invoices allows you to have a published listing on the AAO website and view the Resume Center.
  1. You will first need to register an account with the AAO as a non-AAO member provider. As a provider click here to create your account. Create an AAO Account (You will need to request access)
  2. After your account is created, at the top of the screen click on "Careers" to navigate to Practice Opportunities & Careers.
  3. Click on "Bcome a Provider".
  4. Click on "Register for non-AAO member access" (You must have an AAO account to continue).
  5. gree to the terms of the service with your electronic signature in this format e.g., /s/ Merleen Leonce.
  6. You will then be directed to create an opportunity.
  7. You will receive an invoice from the AAO.  Once that invoice has been paid, your opportunity will be published.
  8. You will then have access to the Resume Center.
IMPORTANT! Once you have been granted access and created your opportunity, you will receive an email notification.  Please allow up to 48 business hours for the AAO to approve your request.
  1. You opportunity must be paid before you become a Provider.
  2. All orthodontic opportunities are current for either 30 day or 90 day subscriptions.
  3. You MUST provide an email address where you can be contacted about the opportunity.
  4. You may choose to have your opportunity listed as confidential or open.
How do I pay the invoice?
  1. Please log into aaoinfo.org with your email and password you used to create the AAO account.
  2. Click on ‘store’ and then click on ‘open invoices’.
  3. You will then be able to pay your invoice and your listing will be published.

I posted/created an opportunity but did not receive an email from the AAO.
It is possible the notification went to your Spam/Junk folder. To ensure you receive emails from the AAO, please add admin@aaoinfo.org and info@aaortho.org to your contact list in your email manager.
 
Can I see what the opportunity looks like to Seekers? 
After logging in to www.aaoinfo.org with your email and password of record with the AAO.
  • At the top of the screen click on "Careers" to navigate to Practice Opportunities & Careers.
  • Click on "Access Your Opportunities".
  • Under “My Active Opportunities” Click “edit”
  • At the top of the page click “View”
How much does it cost to post on AAO Practice Opportunities & Careers?
Each individual opportunity will be posted for either 30 days for $150 or 90 days for $375. Multiple opportunities may be posted. Each opportunity will be billed individually. Providers are not permitted to post one opportunity for multiple locations/positions.
 
Will I see my price before posting my opportunity?
You may select either 30 days ($150) or a 90 days ($375) subscription. The system will not permit you to go forward without selecting a subscription. You will be invoiced based on the subscription you select. The system will permit only one subscription type for each individual opportunity.
 
Can I extend my opportunity?
Posted opportunities cannot be extended. Please purchase a new 30 day ($150) or 90 day ($375) subscription.
 
What is the Resume Center?
AAO member seekers can opt-in to add their resumes to the Resume Center.  As a Provider, you can search candidates through the Resume Center.
 
When will my opportunity appear on the Practice Opportunities website? 
Usually, opportunities appear within 24 business hours after you make your payment. If an invoice is paid over the weekend or a holiday, then the opportunity will be posted at the end of the next business day.
 
Can I edit my opportunity once it is posted?
Yes. Log into your account and select the “My Opportunity” tab. Click on the opportunity you want to edit. Scroll down the next page and select the edit button. When finished editing, click the “Save” button to complete the process.   

Is the information I enter protected?
Yes. Information is solely for use by the AAO and AAO-sponsored programs.
